Founded in 1974, the Population and Community Development Association (PDA) is one of the most recognised NGO in Thailand. It supports numerous projects with the main goal of helping the disadvantaged in our Society.
The Ecotourism Endeavour in Southern Thailand stems from PDA’s deep commitment to alleviate the burden of the victims who were hit by the killer waves of the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami.

Since the inception of the Community Based Integrated Rural Development Center (CBIRD) in Krabi, our main objective has been to promote Sustainable Development that benefits the local communities to the maximum.

With the determination of fulfilling our purpose after this terrible disaster, we have worked in close collaboration with the villages of the Andaman Coast to source for alternative ways to sustain their livelihood.

Through this dynamic partnership, we have developed enterprises that cause minimum damage to our natural habitat. Championing a responsible community living approach we hope to achieve our aim in helping the local population.
For once in a lifetime experience, discover the culture and authentic lifestyle of the people who call the Andaman coast home.

As a Homestay guest you will be accommodated in simple bungalows and have a taste of a typical day, in the life of a fisherman. You will be able to participate in their daily life and learn more about the people, the history of the village or if you refer, dulge in the various activities that they offer to their guests.
